Hello,
I am interested in buying interesting contact lenses, such as cat eyes, however.. I know nooothing about them, never wore them..some are expensive- $300, some $80! Can these be worn for years? Also! Do they fit in any eye/ can they cause issues? Most of all..MUST I go to a eye doc to get them?! That seems silly, as its not for RX - rather for fun. ANY input, & source on to buy them reasonably priced would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I used to have cat eye contacts (as well as white out contacts). Mine were prescription, but non-prescription are available. Regardless of prescription, you do need to go to an eye doctor for an exam before getting them. Not everyone can even wear contacts and there are different fits. As for how long they last, if they're non-prescription and they're taken care of properly, they could last for years. If I still had the same prescription as I did when I got my fun contacts (about 7 or 8 years ago), I'd still be able to wear them now as I always made sure they were properly cleaned and stored after each time I wore them.

The contact lenses you want to buy better should be between $180 - $100. You have to see what size you need from a consultant or a specialist. Try wearing them for years.

You should go to an optometrist to see if you a good candidate for contacts and get your measurements taken......you can then shop around for the best prices on the cat eyes.....most contacts with the cosmetic tints are usually good for two weeks if stored properly.......most of all be careful a lot of things can go wrong with contacts

You should go and get them perscribed, because they have to have your eye size, and the cheep ones that they say are the same thing are NOT! if you buy the cheap ones they can really damage your eyes in the long run! so just keep in mind that you get what you pay for! ...good luck.

it is best to avoid contact lens unless u really need it as when u put in contact lens u have to pull the skin below eyes and this might cause u to have bag eyes in the future and there might be contamination :)
