I hate to bring bad news, but it does sound like it may be a miscarriage. I miscarried triplets at 15 weeks in December of 2005...my hcg levels did the same thing. I went and had a D&C because I was barely spotting, and my body was not yet rejecting the pregnancy. Ultrasound confirmed it though. My babies had stopped developing around 8 weeks and my body just wasn't reacting to it.
My heart goes out to you as this is a very difficult thing to experience...but keep your head up and if you want to try again..continue to take your prenatal vitamins and take care of yourself. i am now 30 weeks with one very healthy baby girl. It only took us 3 months to concieve after miscarriage.
Good luck and my prayers are with you!

Well, none of those levels doubled. Every 48 hours your hgc levels are supposed to double. So the 744 should have been 1500 and so on. I would say a miscarriage is possible if that's all your hgc levels are going up. Good Luck, just keep praying!
