Do you actually need oney to start? I've never had any funding for my various businesses and all have been successfl. If its just a bit of cash you need to smooth things, what about online work? I don't know if this would suit you or not, but I have made a lot of extra money here http://www.mylot.com/?ref=nancygibson Basicaly its a bit like here, you ask and answer questions and can post pictures etc, but you get paid each time you do. I've made a really useful extra amount of cash in my spare moments. Would that be of any interest at all?

Only thing I can think of is to ask a local newspaper to run your story, how much you want to get off benefits, take care of your kids, but can't get anywhere. Keep trying to get papers or even magazines interested in how tough it is for single mothers. You may get some good feedback. Also, local radio station. Ask if you could run your story by them. The very best of luck.
