I will admit I am not a fan but if I was I would think that her fake accent would turn me off? Please don't say it is not fake....I just want to get an honest reaction from fans...I know what people who dislike her say..just want to get a fan's take on it...that is all...why do you think she does it?

I do like Madonna. But I have to admit...it is somewhat annoying, not gonna lie. Especially for someone, like many have said, from New York. However, yes people can pick up accents from being around them, but its typically only on certain words and/or sounds, not entire conversations. However, hearing her perform, she sounds no different than ever. I don't know if she even notices. Very weird...I agree.

I wouldn't say we hate her for attempting to put on an English accent, we just find it a bit humorous. There's nothing worse than American trying to do an English accent! To be fair, I can only hear it in the odd word and so she does still sound quite American.

NO, I love British accents, but Madonna anymore seems annoying. She seems more and more calculated as she grows older. I think it's good that she adopted a poor, African child but it seems too much like she's following the latest Hollywood trend, and she started that whole Kabbalah craze. Maybe she's really serious about, she's studied it for quite some time now but I question whether she really is grounded in religion now or if she's really a spiritual person.

I know exactly what your talking about! I saw her on an interview and I wondered why she was speaking that way! I guess it's because She lives over there now and she thinks she has to talk that way. It is very annoying though, and very fake! She is trying way to hard you can tell!!

She's the biggest FAKE I've ever heard of...NEVER have liked her OR her music!!! What about the adoption of the little boy from Africa...what is it with celebrities that adopt from forgein countries...when there are millions of children HERE who could use a loving home!!
Are WE not good enough for the rich and powerful?!
Maybe she'll get hit by a double decker bus while visiting England..that'll take care of the fake accent!!

I'm not much of a fan either, but I do understand how we can pick up accents! Living around people all the time and we tend to pick up their ways!

she is just an annoying person to start with. She use to hate England and now she lives there! If I were her, I would take some of the money she has made over the years and get that wide gap in her front teeth corrected!
