I think we can forgive them for that as long as they return the Revenue they stole from us via North Sea Oil/Gas to keep the shithole alive and breathing.

Fool!! The Germans have hosted the tournament more times than England, and have therefore had plenty of world cup home crowds. England have been on the wrong end of referees decisions so often it has become the norm. It happens every tournament because the majority of other nations hate the English, a bit like you whinging Rab C's.

I hate English people
How sad r they to be STILL going on about how they won the world up in 1966 (40 years ago)
I'm just glad they didnt win it this year
It pissed everybody off when u heard an English person say: "We'll win the world cup! We'll win the world cup!" If they did win it we would NEVER EVER hear the end of it
If an English person is reading this & is angry, everybody who isnt English hates England because they are so arrogant and cocky!
Need 2 finish my rant-
And why does anybody want to know about the Queen? She's never done anything for anybody, and the English still lick her ***!
If the Queen hurts her back, which she did not long ago, it was on the news the next day. It was 1 of the main headlines & they had a reporter live at Buckingham Palace to lick the Queen's *** in front of the camera!

Have a look at where each world cup was hosted, and who won it. It's very common for a home team to win (or if not, to do better than would normally be expected). It's just a fact of the game, and no-one is going to bother apologising for it or start declaring previous world cup wins null and void.

I think you wound up a few englishmen there! maybe a few lovely ladies also.Unfortunately my friend, that's football for ye! I think secretly you will be happy if they ever win it again,so we can put to bed the ghost of '66' . Personally i am sick and tired hearing about it.So David Healy scores a memorable goal in the world cup qualifiers,NORTHERN IRELAND beat england 1-0 it is celebrated until the next match.I don't think in the history of football, there has been a more discussed controversial goal,or in fact match.Be satisfied in 1967 SCOTLAND beat england,so becoming world champs(unofficially).

Not a chance. As for compensation, West Germany have already received runner-up medals, and that's good enough!

When will England ever win anything else so that you get over a 1966 hangover?
