Wow great answers! bad question though i wasn't pondering war on law but rather revoking the legal status of war.

I agree we need law the simpler and easier to follow the better but war do we need that should it be voted against the law by the people of the globe is what i'm curious about i'll try to simplify the question.

i think that if a majority of citizens of earth held a rebellion against law that would be beautiful. War is not neccesary though. To quote a good friend of mine "I do not ask that you place hands on the tyrants; just stop obeying and watch the mother f@#$ers fall." It would be ideal if it could actually be achieved peacefully but I think the war against the 'law' right now is the war against imperialism and will be a war against those who have squandered our resources and oppressed the masses for so long. I would not "vote' war though. Vote being the important word. If you are involved in a war, go fight it hand to hand with your opponent. Don't rely on a governmental system to do it for you. Besides, there will be no vote against the law because the vote is a part of the law.

So an essential law to say there should be no law?
I don't think there can really be a society without its basic codes of conduct. Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, for example, are basic rules of conduct few people would actually want to live without.
Perhaps what you're proposing is something like North American Indian or African tribal societies, where groups of elders decide what to do with transgressors, aiming to better the community, instead of enforcing a rigid 'law' system.
Of course, modern industrial societies present a different problem. Would you really want to live in a world where there were no laws regulating food labeling and air pollution? What about a world where no laws would govern who could practice medicine?
Perhaps industrial societies aren't the best way to live, but how can we practically go back? How would we feed 6 billion people without modern industry? And this system requires a great number of laws to function.

When was the global majority ever able to enforce anything? My vote is that we take this question off the ballot and just dig in, buckle down and get to work. We may not even see the results in our lifetimes but at least it will be a real and effective start. May peace be with you, now and forever.
