Just wanted to check if it was or whether people adopted it as the song to remember by. Lovely song by the way if you haven't heard.

I don't think it originally was, because it came out before 9/11, like almost a full year before that happened. However, I think Enya did release a special commemorative version of it (kind of a remix with heavier drum tracks that was on the pop stations) for 9/11. Kind of like that song Elton John wrote for Princess Di, except it was really just his song "Norma Jean" from the 70's and he changed the words around a bit to be about the princess instead of Marilyn Monroe. It's kind of the same thing.

That song came out (I beleive) BEFORE 9/11 so I don't think it was necessarily dedicated to the people who died on 9/11.

im sure it was adopted as the song for 9/11. its a very beautiful moving song, i can see why it was chosen.
