Why is he coming to visit - do you have kids? If you don't have kids don't have him visit? If you do, be as polite as possible and count the minutes until he's gone...

Is he not very nice now, or just indifferent?
I mean we need to know...
If he is no longer the sweet, loving guy you married , and if he is infact mean, hurtful, or even violent (ofcourse I do not suppose he is the latter, or you would not be allowing him to visit) just ....well... here is a strange piece of advice, that I follow as a Professional driver, "ALWAYS LEAVE AN OUT".
keep looking in your mirrors, so to speak...
Do you have children with this man.
Does he love them?
would he harm you or others, kids, the dog, etc.?
If not, then...JUST BE YOURSELF.
Do you still have feelings for him? I noticed the question does not say, ex Husband...
So what/ where is he comming from?
Is he a SOLDIER ?
We need more info/ ADD DETAILS, so we can better understand what is going on, and so, give you better advice.
otherwise, just talk to him, try to use this time to come closer together...Remember what it was that brought you two together in the first place, and go from there.

Are there children involved? Just the 2 of you? You had something strong enough at one point to get you in a married state. Play it by ear, see how it goes. Respect the idea of love.

Depends if you've been talking reconciliation or not, if not you might be better off having him stay at a hotel. Always remember what went wrong, just in case. People can change their behaviors if they really want to, but it doesn't happen that often.
Anyway, good luck and hope his visit is all that you want it to be.

Why are you concerned? Do you still harbour feelings for him? Many couples have got back together you know!
If you're worried because he may try it on, and your not interested - then get him to stay in a local hostelry.

If you don't feel comfortable having him stay in the house with you ask him to book a hotel.

Two days...any nights? If so, get him to book into a hotel. You have kids together? If not, why is he staying so long? I'd keep him at arms length and keep it light.
