Im confused about my life and going back to college is not an option I want to do, considering I been there for 5yrs and now 24yrs old. Im considering the military for the benifits and student loan repayment, but Im not sure if I should go in or not.

the military is a great choice if you are careful with your enlistment. don't forget they need you more than you need them. so, be tough when you are negotiating your contract. if you have a degree you will enter as a higher rank, which means more pay and more resposibility. for me, the military was a great experience, got me in shape, met people, traveled, got me out of debt, and had great options for further education. good luck in your decision.

The US military is a great option for service to your country, and has more advancement options then any other organization in the world. With the level of education you are indicating, I'm sure you can join in a way to move you up into the officers ranks, and have the military pay you to finish your education at the same time. But if the only reason you are joining is for benefits and money, that doesn't seem to be the right reason to join. Patriotism and a desire to help your country should be why you are enlisting, with the benefits just being icing on the cake.

Here's the deal, if you owe the school money, then finish that last semester! The military will not be able to get your transcript from you school if you do owe money. If you don't owe the school any money, whatever service you join you are going to be going in with a higher rank, cause you have over 45 hours of college work! You will be getting paid some dough! I feel ya, you don't want to waste anymore time! I would advise you to choose the Navy or the Airforce! Good luck with you decision!

Financially, it makes perfect sense, right? Also, the military will give you a new sense of purpose and discipline in order for you to finish school. I think it's worth the wait. But then again, you only have half a semester left....so you're almost there. It is a tough choice.

Not a bad idea and is would be worth your effort since the military will enable your college education with a grant under the Montgomery G.I. Bill....I think nowadays around the amount of say, $50,000.00!

I wish I would have joined the military. Especially when I was younger(higher rank by now). I thought college was it but now I'm lost and have nothing to do with my life. I'm thinking about going but I feel like its till to late for me.
