For the past couple of months my husbands attitude towards me has been awful. (We are newly weds). He even shoved me out of our bedroom once when he was mad. I found out this past Friday that he has been on steroids for a little over a month. I asked if his attitude was due to the steroid use. He said, "No". I don't know if he says no so I won't make him stop taking them or if he's just being mean sometimes. Has anyone been in a relationship with someone on steroids? What was it like?

I know someone that has and it is the steroids causing his bad attitude. More testosterone in the body = mood swings and aggression. Your seeing the affects already.

Total personality change. I knew a guy on them and he became such a jerk. If this behavior (the pushing, etc.) is new, then it probably is tied to the steroids. It is not ok. If he pushes you, then give him his space. A LOT OF SPACE as in bye-bye. Some men can change after marriage too. If he is abusive, then leave him. He is not worth the pain he will cause you.

I personally haven't been in a relationship with someone on steroids, but I do have a friend that has taken them , and yes they do affect your attitude and make you "meaner" than normal.

it's obviously afecting his emotions
steroids definately make you more aggressive and there's nothign you can do stop it he doesnt mean to be mad he just can't help it
but you don't deserve to be treated that way
you need to sit him down and talk to him calmly and tell him how you feel about it and ow it makes you feel and if he can't see your point of view then you need to have an intervention
