I know it can be frustrating to work for someone like that. If the issue at hand is work related, it is always possible to have your say without getting fired, demoted or whatever. Diplomacy goes a long way. Don't be scared to make suggestions and present different solutions. Just make sure that anything you say that can be used to improve work is in writing, there is nothing worse than to see your ideas with someone else name attached to it so that they can reap all the glory.
If it is not work related, then it doesn't matter because it shouldn't affect your performance if you disagree. If the non-work related issues get out of hand, shut him up by presenting him with researched proof that he is totally full of it. Arguments in the work place can turn nasty overtime and can create intolerable work atmosphere. Ultimately you will have to decide if it worth the trouble. Good luck. Cheers.=)

If you wanna keep your job, then just do your part well and that's it. You don't have to be in love with your boss. By doing your job right you relieve him of some stress, I am sure, and it will be more likely that he or she will open up to you and maybe even accept criticism.

Welcome to the world of working for someone else. To save you time and headaches please get a copy of Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. You can get it on Amazon for like 2 cents plus shipping. Most bosses will fit into that category so better to be prepared. Good luck.

Pretend he is, smile and give him your respect, never give him any reason to doubt that you can do your job. If you do, the boss that behaves like this, will fire you in a second.
