I am in high school and want to go to work on my psychology doctors after high school. However, I am also interested in Holistic medicine. This class would certify me as a Holistic Health Practitioner, and make me eligible for other board certifications. I could fit this around my schedule, but would the quality of the education be complete enough without face-to-face instructor interaction? This course has 1000 hours of books, dvds, and cds, as well as online instruction. Thanks for your help. :)

I am in a GNCM program...the Master Herbalist program. It is a great program, and you do learn a lot. There is a forum which is really helpful that you have to participate in, so you can converse about herbs and natural health with some confidence. It is a very book heavy program though, and you have to be really disciplined to get it done. Its really easy to walk away for awhile, but its harder to get back to it. I have found it rewarding. And no, it isn't a scam.
