An anti virus won't find a keylogger. Its possible that someone guessed your password; but make sure you have a firewall and try AVG Anti spyware.

You need to install one firewall.
The Windows firewall doesn't stop malware on your pc from dialling out. Both these firewalls are free for personal use and stop unwanted incoming and outgoing traffic.

Instal both these web browsers, turn off javascript on one and use that browser for vising unknown websites. They don't support Active X so thats one less way for problems to get on your pc.

You need to install one anti virus;

You need all three anti spyware programs;
http://www.ewido.net - AVG(Ewido) anti trojan.

http://www.safer-networking.org - Spybot Search and Destroy anti spyware

And these are useful utilities;

Remember to update and run all of you anti malware programs at least once a week.

You don't say what antivirus program that you are running.

Obvious the program is garbage an is not giving you the protection that it is supposed to give. I suggest you remove the program as you can only run one antivirus program or you will have serious conflict with your system. You can run three or four antispyware program without conflict.

I use a free antivirus program that I consider to be the very best state of the art technology that is light years ahead of any free or purchased program.

http://www.avast.com This company is out of Prague and they will ask you for your email address as they will send you a free key good for one year. Install the key when you receive. After one year you must request a new key. The corporate version is 100% the same they just make corporate pay.

This program has protected my pc an I have never had one virus in over nine years. As a real time state of the art background scanner that will destroy any hidden embedded virus found on any webpage. You get daily twice or three times per day updates an excellent support. This all for free.

If you are sure you have a keylogger, go to: http://www.emsisoft.com and download their A2Squared V2. The free home for personal use. Excellent program out of Austria. This program will remove the keylogger, plus al other malware and protects you against rogue dialers. I use this program in my computers. The scan is extensive, as it scan all 195,000 objects in my system. There is no conflict with this program with any other antivirus system you have installed.

Always reboot after your antiviurs or antispyware finds a virus or spyware.

OK - before you work yourself into a state about your PC being hacked, did you ever think the hacker simply hijacked the site directly on-line??

Anyhow, as has been out line, you should always have three software elements:
*A decent AV - AVG is good, Symantec Corporate is also fantastic (although Symantec also makes Norton, avoid those products like the plague)
* Decent spyware/malware protection - Ewido has proven to be the best I've seen, although AwareSE (pro version) would be a second choice.
*A trustworthy firewall. The best firewalls are though directly hard-wired, for example into a good ADSL modem. Best software choice would be ZoneAlarm

Oh, now "Babe19" - if you are going to disopense advice, could you at least make the effort to remain legible. That was the biggest load of babble I've ever come across. I've been around computers longer than you've been alive and I STILL couldn't follow have of that nonsense!

it depends on your antivirus, i use nod32 its the best nothing ever slipped through the net. use it at work now aswell, also get xsoft spy, its spyware protection. and it picks up everything. if you try both these and still nothing the chances are its been hacked remotly, unfortunatly im not familar with runscape so cant really tell you much more, if it goes online then it probably not a virus or keeyloggerf at your end. also, do you have a firewall? windows XP firewall is not good enough so get a different one zone labs do a free one go to www.zonelabs.com and get the free firewall.
