Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive. Paul is 64 and Ringo is 66. John Lennon, who was shot and killed December 8, 1980, would have been 66 if he were still alive. George Harrison died a couple years back of what I believe was cancer, but he would have been 63 if he were alive.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr [Richard Starkey]. Unusually for a band the drummer has outlived the bass player. Ringo is going strong and his son plays drums with The Who and Oasis (he's much better than his dad). We've yet to see if Paul will survive Heather Mills McCartney. Lennon was shot, and George Harrison died of cancer that was exacerbated by a savage attack he suffered by a knife weilding burglar one Christmas eve. Pete Best the original drummer is still alive. But life is tough if your a Beatle.
