if your testosterone level is normal, the following are a few other avenues to pursue when trying to figure out the cause of impotency:
1. do you have high blood pressure or are you taking b/p medication-----both can be the culprit
2. any chance that you have diabetes----a real zapper of potency
3. are you overly stressed (at work, home, IN THE BEDROOM)
performance anxiety is dastardly when trying to overcome i.
4. if you're able to masturbate yourself to ejaculation------could be a positive sign of some psychological problem interferring with the ability to garner a hard on.
5. problem with the prostate gland
if you haven't already, see a urologist. s/he can best explore the reason(s) for ED and help to put you on the path to recovery.
Best of luck!

At that age, there is some hardening of the arteries. Your penis is supplied by its own artery, and blood flow is impeded. Also, erection & ejaculation are induced by your own body's electrical signals through the nervous system. with age, your electrical signals get weaker & feeble - they fail to start the process for sex. \

also, mens' bodies have specific cellular receptors which react to free testosterone in the bloodstream. but over the years, these cellular receptors grow less & less responsive to normal levels of free testosterone. Same happens with thyroid & other hormonal cellular receptors.

Also, with age, mens' bodies produce much of sex-hormone binding globulin. ( SHBG) this substance binds your testosterone & inactivates it. You can have normal testosterone levels & yet have lack of FREE testosterone (not bound by SHBG)

No medicines available readily to counter these imbalances. When your electrical current gets weak, your batteries are rundown.

Best to try is go online & buy AYURVEDIC natural drugs from India to help your libido & erection. they are the best now available. Avoid the allopathic MD. Go to Ayurvedic Vaidya for help.
