It's actually really easy. www.scooterstereo.com sells complete stereos (for Vespas) and kits (for any scooter with a glovebox) that allow you to plug in your mp3 player, walkman or portable satelite radio (anything with a headphone jack works) right into your scooter. The system does not plug into your scooter in any way and does not use your scooter's electrical system.

If you don't own a Vespa or Stella scooter, you can always get the kit, which would require you to drill holes in your glovebox for the speakers, the on/off switch and the volume knob. Scary as that sounds, it's actually really easy to do with a 4" hole saw and some decent lube oil.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions, or check out www.scooterstereo.com for more details

Sure. You just have to find room to fit your sound system. Best place would be in the storage compartment under the seat.
L or R side panels
Cover below the seat and below it
Cover in front below the handlebars
Find a place to install external speakers or speakers that fit in your helmet .

When a police officer see's it, you will get stopped. The scooter is in the toy class and you must wear a helmet anyway.
