It means 'an Action Man' (or woman). Someone who does not need to stop and think, but thinks while they act on a situation.
Mind you, whether they take responsibility for this should they screw-up....!

They've probably decided you are suffering 'paralysis by analysis'. It is possible you are taking a long time to weigh up the pros and cons before making decisions. Think on your feet means taking a best guess decision as to the best course of action to take right there and then, at that moment in time. No decision is perfect so just decide to make one and go with the flow.

It means the same thing as the expression "think fast".
You have to make decisions quickly, like a military commander in the field who is in the middle of a fight -- he does not have the luxury of being able to sit down at a table with his maps and friends and taking his time to make up him mind, because the enemy is attacking and he has to think while running.

its a saying - "i have to think on my feet" - it means they have to either make decisions right there and then or have to act quick, which could be part of the job.

I never really understood that , But it could mean , Dont think You can do anything;Be wealthy/poweful
Think on your feet ( a lower level ) , You cant do it , it's impossible
