I think my favorite author would be Gabriel Garcia Marquez or Salman Rushdie. My favorite books are "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck, "Midnight's Children" by Salman Rushdie, "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austin, "Everything Is Illuminated" by Jonathan er... Foer? He's got a middle name I don't remember, "Peter Pan" by J. M. Barrie, and... probably the third Harry Potter. Oh, and "Love in the Time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

I like kids books, what can I say...

Francine Rivers is a fantastic author, and her stories are very vivid. She wrote A Voice in the Wind. Start on that and you will never put it down! Then read the next 2 in the trilogy - it will have you hooked - GUARANTEED!

If you wish some more nourishing reading; fiction with a wonderful, mystical and directive force underlying the search for love in your life, search hard until you find Rechad Field - The Invisible Way. Unbelievably good.

For humour - don't remember author's name, but "100 ways to kill your husband and a hundred other handy household hints" is a relatively new release and is HYSTERICAL!

For Erotics - Anais Nin (Make sure you don't get addicted, she is very, very hot!)

For alternative love stories - Thomas Sanchez - wrote Day of the Bees.

Oh Gosh! I don't know. There are WAY too many to choose from. I really liked "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, and I'm currently reading "The Arthur Trilogy" by Kevin Crossley-Holland. "The Chronicles of Prydain" are good books, and the "Harry Potter" series is good. There is also "The Inheritance Trilogy" by Christopher Paolini (read Eragon the book, before you see Eragon the movie!). And we musn't forget the books that defined Fantasy Fiction. J.R.R Tolkein's "The Lord of the Rings" (and "The Hobit")

And "The Chronicles of Narania" are classics.

It is difficult to select just one book, but here you are with my try. My Top-5 is:

1) Mysterious Island by Jules Verne
2) Canasta de Cuentos Mexicanos by B. Traven
3) Fermat´s Last Theorem by Simon Singh
4) El Nombre de la Rosa (The Name of the Rose) by Umberto Eco
5) The Neverending Story by Michael Ende

Jules Verne is by far my favorite author.

My favorite book is October Sky by Homer Hickam...

This book is very inspiring. It's not boring unlike those usual inspirational books..The story was during the first launch of the spaceship Sputnik by Russia, so that was during the 50's..

It includes some reactions of the americans about the unexpected launch of the first spaceship to roam around the outerspace by Russian..

Try this one, You'll surely love it.. (hope so..)
