Yes, being divorced and have seen many of my friends go through divorces, one or the other of the partner, usually the one being dumped, go through the stages. The differences lay in the amount of time. It is dependent on the character and how attached they still where to their partners. Some took just a few weeks, others took years. But all went through the stages, they don't go through the stages in the same order though. Some will go through anger first, whilst others will go through denial. Again it depends on the character.

Yes, pretty much.
If you know 100 people, and those 100 people know 100 different people and so on, it doesn't take long to get to know a lot of people
1 * 100 = 100
100 * 100 = 10000
10000 * 100 = 1000000
1000000 * 100 = 100000000
100000000 * 100 = 10000000000
10000000000 * 100 = 1000000000000
Which is more people than ever existed
Even knowing 25 people each is 6 billion - just about everyone one the plant.

it extremely is not any longer constrained to contributors on your loved ones ladyjinx so it extremely is beside the point that your loved ones are English, on the instant down the line. certainly one of your loved ones could be attentive to somebody, for occasion went to college with them, became taught via them, worked with them, performed in a activities team with them, has his/hair decrease via them, offered a vehicle from them, shared a similar well-being facility room, had a similar piano instructor, have a similar well-being care expert, dentist or regardless of, so the link can take a touch imprecise course from you and in turn as a effect guy or woman 6 ranges away. the project is to locate that chain/links to the objective guy or woman (the Queen, the Dalai Lama, Paris Hilton, George W Bush, Robbie Williams, Elvis Presley or whomever it ought to be. i've got been interpreting an astonishing internet site in this subject count at and the story there merely keeps evolving...its have been given me hooked, it extremely is pleasing.

Maths may make it probable but I don't think it would really work in real life.
It's not possible that every person in e.g. America could knows somebody who is living in let's say Africa in only six steps. That's too far and vitrually impossible. Not to say it's not a nice idea (and with the help of the internet, not improbable) but somehow I can't quite believe it.

Yes,, I will tell you why.
I am nobody important,,just an average Joe.
However years ago I was working on a construction site where they were filming the movie "the stand" where I met Gary Sinese who was in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon.
Now apply that to anyone anywhere and you will find we are all connected one way or another to everyone else. Pick any celeb, and you will find a connection if you really think about it.

It's proven to be false (see source list): "Judith Kleinfeld, a professor psychology at Alaska Fairbanks University, went back to Milgram's original research notes and found something surprising. It turned out, she told us, that 95% of the letters sent out had failed to reach the target. Not only did they fail to get there in six steps, they failed to get there at all. And when she looked for other studies, none of those matched up to the claim either. "

It's possible. Awful hard to prove though unless the people you are trying to connect are very well known people. For instance, I know nothing about you, there is no way we could prove 6 degrees of separation between us. I don't know who you know nor do I know who your people know.
