there's this guy who i liked ever since i was 4 or five years old and now im 13...i dont know why i like him...people say to forget about him and i try to...but i cant...i think he knows i like him and he's acting SO different than before...i want to forget about him...but i cant...they say he's ugly and that he's jerk...and when they do say that...i dont know what to think anymore...a side of me says to forget about him because im just wasting my time running after him...but another side of me says to hold on because maybe i still have a chance...so what should i do???

Well, id say move on. The best way to get from thinging about one guy is to think about another guy, lol, what they call a rebound Guy. lol. Then again, you are only 13, and at that age prolly more mature than most guys, so he could just be shy and he doesnt know what to do. But he's prolly not moving any time soon, and you'll prolly be around him through out high school and midde school and what not. So the best solution is to just try and find someone else that you like, theres tons of fish in the sea. So dont worry. Good luck with that though, I hope things turn out for the best.

I'm going to tell you what few people will. You have to go after this boy.
Your friends say he is a jerk, and they are probably right, you are probably blind by your love for him. But you can't just "stop" crushing on him. Oh can try but when you see him those feelings will always come up. Then sooner or later you two will go to different schools or one of you will move away, and in your head as you meet new boys you will always compare them to the imaginary person you have been building up in your head for who this guy is (even though he is not really that).
You do need to stop crushing after this boy and actually try to date him, you need him to break your heart just a little bit so you can move on, and so you can learn how to move on. There are no short cuts to pain in life. Welcome to the world of love.

If you aint caught him by now, he aint gettin' caught, period.
Maybe he is a jerk, but you're too blinded by your "crush" to see it.
And do you really want to be known as the girl who chased so and so around for 10 years? I mean, really--is it gonna say under your high school picture in the year book "so and so's girl...NOT!!!"
And he's acting "so different from before" because your crush is making him feel uncomfortable. So if you really like him, BACK OFF!

well, if he knows that you are crushing on him and he hasnt tried to start anything with you, then its time to move on. You're wasting your time and he is probably enjoying the chase. Good Luck!
