The answer is an ostrich. I keep ostriches as pets in Devon. They are very inquisitive creatures, they like shiny objects, so don`t wear earrings, watch or necklace if you are near them, they will try to get them.Stay away from them in the spring time when they are egg laying, the legs on the male turn a deep pinkish red during mating time, and he dose not like anyone to go near his ladies or their eggs. They may be pea brained, but they are not stupid!

a European eagle owl has a brain about the size of a baked bean but it's eyes are double the size if not more. their eyes are shaped a bit like mushrooms and when you look at an owls eye it's like looking at the bottom of the stalk of the mushroom, inside the head the eye is like a parasol. This is also the reason why owl are able to turn their heads so far round, because their eyes are immobile.

i'm afraid that once asking multiple persons around right here, inclusive of persons who artwork on eye progression, we've no confident thought of any animal that has eyes larger than its ideas. maximum vertebrates that we are able to think of of all have particularly great brains while in comparison with their eyes; even many amphibians and reptiles with great looking eyes. One curious subject that would ask your self you approximately this question even nevertheless is that this: The eyes are keeping area of an animals forebrain!!!!!! You and that i've got ideas in our eyes!!! The neural retina (photoreceptor cells, ganglia cells) is seen area of the forebrain. Nerve fibers from the retina run alongside the optic nerve into the ideas case of the cranium. So, actual an even bigger eye with an even bigger retina merely makes for extra ideas. in case you bypass to the insect international or the fish international i think you are able to discover some creatures with seen systems that are larger than their ideas, yet in spite of this their eyes carry area of the ideas. wish this grants something to think of roughly
