He was brilliant in "Murder In The First". I was surprised that he didn't even get an Oscar nod for that role. Right now, he will need a break out performance to get one or he may have to wait for a lifetime achievement Academy Award.

Hmmm... that's surprizing. He's been in so many movies. Although, most of them are horribly awful, yet wonderful 80s movies.
I think they should make up a new award. The Kevin Bacon award for actors of similar caliber without any recognition.... like Steve Gutenberg, Anthony Michael Hall and Aidan Quinn

I like Kevin Bacon as an actor. However, there are so many other actors that to me stand in line in front of him as far as winning an Academy award.

He's an excellent actor who has been over looked for years! He deserves an Oscar or an Academy award. Younger actors have come behind him and received awards. It's time.

i thought it deserved a great style of the awards. He is such a great actor and totally deserves one. I think it hasn't happened yet because even tho he is great the movies he is in are not usally academy worthy.
