Mary Lou invited me over this weekend and we were hanging out in her room. She went to go get us some sodas and I sat on her bed when I saw a pair of her underwear on the floor. Thy had these stains on em and it had a smell to it, is she ok, what was that?

There are many simple things it could be. Sometimes a period, at the beginning and the end there is a brownish discharge. This is "old blood" It definitely has an odor to it. It could be yeast infection, very common, especially after taking a round of antibiotics. What happens with antibiotics is that it kills all these germs, but it also kills the good germs in your vagina that fight off yeast. So, then yeast starts to grow. Has a nasty discharge and it smells. It could also be a urinary tract infection. I wouldn't really worry about anything more serious at this point unless she is very sexually active. There are more serious conditions you can get from that.

First of all why would you smell your friends underwear? If you are worried about her ask her if she is ok or you could bring up the subject by talking about something close to that female problems but DO NOT tell her you smelled her undies she could get very embarrassed and not want to be your friend anymore.

Depends on the stain, it could have been menstral blood, in which case, no, nothing in wrong. My question is, why were you smelling them?
