And don't appear to be so now. I mean the 80's fashion thing is rolling around again, and, I would have thought it was time to see them again.

Yea, it's ashame isn't it? Leather skirts are so cool! And especially since leather seems so very popular now. Almost Everyone has a leather jacket, lots of people several. Leather skirts are so good looking, I wish they'd make a big comeback. Besides looking so great, they feel great too. Yes, I've worn one ... I actually own one (and I'm a guy). I wor eit as part of a great Halloween costume 2 years ago. It was so much fun and the leather skirt was the best part of the outfit! Most girls I know all seem to own one or two but they don't usually wear them too often. I guess someone needs to start the trend back up.

Actually I don' think they ever went out and I have seen them on TV quite a bit within the last month. You could even get them at Target in different colors about a month ago. They sold out for this season already.

Because you didn't have to go to a specialty store to get them made, they were being mass made & the price came way down.

They were considered slutty. Give them time, they'll be back. Although, I'm not sure they ever really left.
