i've used both.. but that stupid firefox is not even anywhere near opera browser.. the so called great firefox2 is featuring sum new features which opera had added yrs ago.. and still its not featuring many good options like saving session, toggle images (hide/unhide/cached) and thumbnail preview of tabs etc.. then y is all the big organizations like download.com and PC magazine giving firefox that much publicity.. no one is even talking about opera..

guyz guyz.. u r talking about options, themes, tabbed browising, plug-ins.. opera has all that more than firefox.. and about compatibility.. there r only 4 browsers who support yahoo mail. n opera is one of them..

This is a hot debate I know. I use both of them, and I feel quite comfortable with either of them. Both of these are nice, speedy and sleek.
People are crazy about Firefox because Mozilla advertized its product on everywhere, got reviewed the best and won several awards. Though being a great browser, Opera didn't try to popularize itself as Mozilla did.

You can save your session in Firefox, theres a lot of things that you can do. Firefox has extensions and themes too, which is another reason why people like it. And now that it is getting so popular, the compatability is better too, there are certain secure sites that only support a couple of browsers, Firefox is now part of the main ones. I've been using it since back in the day when nobody knew what that was. People would see my desktop and ask what it was, they usually thought it was a game, but anyways... basically it has a lot of features, you can add to the ones it has, and it is highly compatible with many sites now.

Opera browser is not as popular apperently, I've use FireFox for many years now, and its great, fast and secure. I've never heared of Opera browser in my computer knowlege history.

I personally have never tried Opera. How does one get that? Do I just download it? I think Firefox is as acclaimed as it is because it's another product by the 'Google Wonderboys'... and you know how EVERYONE thinks they're the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Firefox is just all hype. I do not use it. I like IE6 better.
