The PHP should be located in the same directory as your standard HTML which is probably something like var/www/html/htdocs Hope this helps

Make a new PHP file and name it phpinfo.php. In it, just put:

phpinfo();
?>

Upload it and visit in your browser. It should dump everything you need to know about PHP on your server, but you can also find the location. Skim through it (maybe use CTRL-F, find in page) to look for something possibly like "public_html." You may also try to look for "DOCUMENT_ROOT"
