I belong to all the groups below, and there's a very nice balance between beginner enthusiasm and experienced wisdom in all of them.
Spindlers is probably the most active.

This is a tough one...I've been looking myself for quite a while and have only come up with a couple of groups...Most of the members are VERY new at spinning(which is what I need help with). So far, I haven't found much helpful in these groups, but here they are...talk.pixiepurls.com and forums.bellaonline.com. Hope this helps.
