The same reason many Democrat supporters do the same thing on here: Because they are incapable of intelligent discourse.
Do you want me to post examples? Let's look at it this way. Here are the results for different searches. Questions about:
Democrats: 8,378
Liberals: 12,418
Republicans: 12,579
Conservatives: 7,625
Neo-cons (whom many confuse with conservatives): 925
Derogatory terms for Republicans/conservatives: 165 (Repubes)
362 (Repubs, most of these questions are derogatory)
And do I need to post all the questions from people who were harassing me personally for being a moderate conservative?
I had a group of liberal Democrats who were seriously pushing the harassment envelope. It took about three dozen complaints to Yahoo before they finally stopped. However, they're still here, and they still give me a hard time whenever they can.
My point? Both sides do it! It doesn't make it right, of course, but there are plenty of productive questions and answers from both sides. It's about half and half.

We don't want to offend any actual intelligent, thoughtful, patriotic or logical Democrats out there, if such a creature exists. That's why we differentiate between the 99% of the ranting leftist fools from the 1% rational Democrats.

This is why,Talk to a Republican political operative lately and, once you get by the false public bravado that all of them try lamely to project, you see desperation in their eyes. The world is crashing down on the party of the elephant and they have only themselves to blame for the disaster that awaits them on November 7. "In the House, Republicans are most likely to see a net loss of 20 to 35 seats, and with it their majority," says respected political analyst Charlie Cook. "In the Senate, the GOP could lose at least four, but a five- or six-seat loss is more likely. A six-seat change tips the chamber into Democratic hands." I've known Charlie for more than 20 years and he doesn't make reckless predictions. If anything, he plays it safe. Projecting a loss of 20-35 seats in the House means big, big trouble for Republicans.

I don't hate being called a liberal...it was liberals who got us out of the depression and defeated Hitler, not a bad record (they stared us on the way to the moon too -forgot that).

Well, when you are 12 years old and can't vote, it gives the dears a chance to think they are participating in the freedom of speech their leaders are trying to surpress. Be kind.
