All My Children, One life to Live, Guiding Light, and As the World Turns are the only ones filmed in NY; all the other day time soap operas are filmed in the Los Angeles area. Go to abc.com, nbc.com, and cbs.com and click on each soap opera and find the contact information and find out that way.

Yes, soap operas are taped, not filmed, in New York City. All My Children, One Life to Live, Guiding Light and As The World Turns.
The other soaps are taped in Los Angeles. They are not that ininteresting to work on.

No, I believe Days of Our Lives is filmed in Los Angeles. I think most like on the NBC lot in Ventura, CA.
I don't watch All My Children, so I'm not sure, but possibly since Kelly Ripa would do her morning show, "Live with Regis & Kelly" located on 7 Lincoln Square, New York, NY 10023, and then run over to the All My Children set.
