Even though you said SINGER I would have to say that I still haven't gotten all the hype about Tupac.

Where do I start? There are so many! One singer out there who is overrated is Madonna. Don't get me wrong. She is a great entertainer. And she is the master of many disguises! But I don't think she can sing. She's had some really catchy beats that have not been duplicated. She takes what's under ground and introduces it to a mainstream audience. Very smart. But I never really understood the reason why Madonna is mega star she is. She's huge! She adopts a baby and she's on every channel and magazine cover. But judging her based only on her ability to sing, she is way overrated!

There are sooooo many! And I know it's a matter of taste. For me, it would have to be Britney Spears, followed closely by Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson and most in that generation and category. They don't have to be good -- just nice for guys to look at. If you go to the country side, I would have to say Keith Urban. He's good, but not as great as many others - Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, George Strait all run circles around him. And there are many, many others who fit into my file of "overrated".

Band: The Beatles
Singer: Elvis Presley

I have nothing against these personally, they have made some terrific music in their time. But, when they are consistently put right up there as the best of the best of the best, it kinda gets a bit stale.

Sure they revolutionised the industry in their time (though I'm sure they were not the only ones at that time) but others have brought in other influences since then that have been just as inspirational that never seem to get a look in as these 2 are deemed to be right up on that pedestal.

Robbie Williams he's alright but so are a million others. |Obviously millions would disagree with me I think he hit lucky at the right time. With his job came responsiblity and thats something he does not have. Madonnas another shes got loads of money far, far more than she needs..........yeah shes adopted a poor orpan boy she could have adopted at least five. She must have seen how poverty stricken the place she visited was if she gave 20 million of her money away she would not feel it.
