Seems like everyone wants to stick the President for every problem that has occured since he was elected. Why does everyone for get that this country is run by democracy--we chose him for our president, and we chose him (the majority of us) twice. Why does everyone want to escape their personal responsibilty to the point where it makes us all (not just the president) look like a bunch of fools. Do we, and our government as a whole, not have any connection in the problems that we face? Is it really all up to one man? I'm not willing to give any one person all that power.

Why do we elect people, then bog them down in overwhelming criticism, then wonder what the problem is.
Let the man do his job. If you don't like it, vote for someone else next time.

Because Bush is a Republican and the media is liberal. The media has been waging a war against Bush since he began running for President in 1999. The media thinks that only liberal Democrats should hold any elective office. The agenda of the Left is bigger governmemt, higher taxes, and fewer freedoms. Liberals think that all goodness flows from Washington and they will spend no amount of your money to prove it. They have zero faith in you as an American and as an individual. The Constitution says you have rights as an individual. Libs do not see that. They think all rights are collective. The Bill of Rights says I can own a gun. Libs say the Second Amendment does not apply to the "people," of which I am one, rather only to the militia (which they say is the National Guard-- which wasn't founded until early in the 20th century) and to the police. Do you want only a military arm of the government and the police holding all the guns? Sounds like a recipe for tyrrany to me.

The truth is: Libs will say anything to damage President Bush because that is their aim. They rely on biased reporting and the general ignorance of the American public to advance their leftist agenda. Truth is not important to them. Only gaining and holding power over YOU is.

There are just so many immoral, inhumane and illegal passages that have occurred in this presidency; more than in any other I am aware of. Bush gets blamed because he is the top dog. He ultimately gives the orders and signs the bills. I agree with you 100% though, that it is the responsibility of many. I would say everyone in this country, however, the common person has very little influence or power by him or herself. We all have a responsibility to inform ourselves and speak up against wrongs. I have said many times how people choose to escape personal responsibility by not being informed while many innocents are dying. We Americans sit in our comfortable homes, eat good food, drive fancy cars and say it's not our fault people suffer so.

That's the way our minds work. But don't worry. When a democrat is elected and other bad things happen we can call those who voted for that president all idiots. It isn't about what is in the best interests of the country and the people, it's all about how bad you can make the other side look. It's easier for the weak minded to call names and pick at the others than for them to get off their tail ends and do something constructive. Sitting and criticising takes very little effort, thought or intelligence.

Put the blame where it belongs. We are all exposed to too much news by the liberal left wing fourth estate-the press. The world has always had problems but now they are served to us minute by minute right at the table when we are eating. We can't seem to escape the worldly goings on. How awful, we simply must help those poor people or save that poor country, yaddah. Hells Bells!!! Our fellow citizens are dying right next door from starvation and lack of affordable medical care; lets try to take care of our own neighborhood before we take on saving the rest of the world.

Have you read about the seperation of powers? You should read what powers Bush wants. Bush wants to order Congress. Now list ten new laws passed by the Republicans in the last 6 years that help the working class Democrats. Congress has never worked less in History since 1948, they now work only two days per week. We pay them $165,000 each. No President in History has taken more vacation time than GW Bush. Who do you think we should be blamed for Sept.11th. It was Republicans who were paid to protect America. Bush got a PDB called "terrorist determined to attack the USA" in that PDB he was told they would use "hi-ja_cked comm. aircraft to blow up buildings". Bush was also told they were already in the USA.
BTW, How much time away from the job of president has Bush spent trying to keep Republicans in power? How much cash has that one man made for Republicans while being paid by the tax payers to be President?. Cheneys duck hunting trip to Texas cost tax payers $650,000. Each time Bush goes to Texas cost tax payers over $ one million.

Harry Truman had a plaque on his desk that said "The Buck Stops Here." Which means as the man at the top he was responsible for what happened in his administration and on his watch good or bad.

bush is the opposite the buck stops every where but with him. Unless it is something good, then he wants all the credit: Dow is up it's george's policies. When it is something bad he wants to ignore it pretend it doesn't exist or just lie about it: Real wages are down and poverty is increasing they chance the subject.

If you want to worship at the cult of bush that's on your head. Just don't expect the rest of us to follow you.

Because he is the man in charge and lied to the electorate in order to push through his policies. Sorry, I don't accept any portion of blame for the mistakes, deceit, and the breakdown in the decision making process committed by him.
