Because he wanted to make life interesting.
I think we've pretty much established that God doesn't control everything. He gave us free will, why? Well I suppose it was more fun than playing with puppets.
I believe in God, and I think people need to believe in something whatever they perceive that something to be. Just look at all the religions and beliefs floating around, do you need more proof of this necessity? But I don't think He's infallible, maybe He wanted it that way, maybe it just happened. Maybe we're looking for the magic answer, and we've all got it wrong-wouldn't that be a kick?
Reconcile with yourself. The universe must have balance. We must endure the bad so we may accept the good. There's tons of these and enough people who would take each as gospel. Take whatever credo gets you through the day. Personally I like, Smile, it throws them off.

Nature's every phenomenon has a dual nature and every thing is relative. For example Day & Night, Right and Left, Two sides of a coin, High and Low , Good & Bad etc.Nothig can exhists without the anti being exhisting. Can you imagine only one side of a coin. Can you think of only day all the times. These are all relative and not absolute. Day and night are just day and not day. On a scale of 0-10 if you give day a rating of 10 then night will be 0.You may think that moon is above us but if you go to moon you will find earth is above moon. That is why there is sin along with love so that one can easily understand the importance of both. Unless you do not experience you will not be able to cherish love.

Your right, God is the creator of all things. But God made sure He created only things that are good. So did God also create sin? Its like asking, if God created light, he also created darkness. No, the absence of light is darkness. What we all experience and know in this world is a result of things that are good and evil. Bad and evil things is a result of an absence of things that are good. Just like love. God wants to be known as the author love. Many asks, what is the opposite of love? In my opinion its selfishness. Selfishness is sin but God did not create selfishness, it simply the absence of love.

There is no creature in a dual sense. The creator and the creation are the same. Sin(hate) and love do not exist independently. Like darkness is absence of light. The very notion of darkness requires existence of light. Similarly, the very notion of sin requires the existence of love. In a world where there is no love, there won't be any sin. Sin is simply the absence of love.

Well friend, God , let us agree, created sweetness. There is absolutely no reason for him to create red chillies! Same is with deep ocean and tall mountain.Same with an Einstein and a child with Down`s syndrome.
Unless there is diversity, difference you donot see the goodness in one.
Do you think that you would have thought of God if you didnot have pain , sorrow and disappointment in life? never. It is HIs simple trick to make you and I to remember him all the time.
And..... if you are ONLY love ... you dont need any god. You are God.

He gave us freewill. That means we choose to sin or to love or to do whatever we wish. If there weren't sin it would be because we didn't have the choice to do evil. It would mean we were just his perfect little puppets. What would be the point of that? The challenge is to do the right thing when faced with the opportunity to do evil. That is how he tests us.

And while you're at it, don't forget to ask why Jehovah allowed 6 million of his chosen people to be incinerated by Hitler, or how Buddha allowed Truman to vaporize 200,000 men, women or children, or how God allowed Stalin to execute 30 million Christians. If god was truly benevolent and omnipotent, could these things have happened.
The mere existence of evil in this world makes the existence of a benign god impossible: If god were omnipotent, he could eliminate evil and if he were benign, he would want to do so. Furthermore, if god were all-good, as he is supposed to be, he could not sin. However, if he were all-powerful, he could sin.
If God is willing to prevent evil but is not able to prevent evil, then he is not omnipotent.
If God is able to prevent evil but is not willing to prevent evil, then he is not benevolent.
Evil is either in accordance with God’s intention or contrary to it.
Thus, either God cannot prevent evil or he does not want to prevent evil.
Therefore, it follows that God is either not omnipotent or he is not benevolent. He cannot be both omnipotent and benevolent.
And there's the absurdity of prayers, requests by confessedly unworthy persons to have the laws of the universe repealed in their favor. In a war, if soldiers in opposite trenches pray to God, who does he listen to?
After horrendous disasters or personal calamities, religious people commonly thank their god for the miracle of saving them or helping them. It does not occur to them that, if god is omnipotent, he could have prevented the disaster before it struck in the first place. Since god did not prevent the disaster, he obviously harmed his poor believer purposely and with malice. Who needs gods like that?

You left out 'If'.
The rest of the question then has no meaning till you prove the 'If', which is 'If god is the only....blah blah.....
.After you have established there is such a thing, outside thinking and thought, you might want to investigate what you mean by sin and love.
