I agree with billyd and having met and spoken to Jimmy Bullard when he was at Peterborough United and again after he moved to Wigan I can only say that you would have to go a long way to meet a more genuine person and I hope he gets over his injury very quickly and does as well for Fulham as he did for Peterborough United and Wigan Athletic. No on should be happy that a player is injured unless of course your name is Roy Kean.

Can you really blame JB for leaving Wigan and before you think this is a pop at Wigan it's not. In life we try to get the most money we possibly can for the work we are employed doing be it lorry driving, accountancy or Footballer, and he was offered more money to go to Fulham than he was to stay at Wigan. I can remember JB when he played for Peterborough United and I was at the match when they played Wigan where JB got a lot of stick for leaving Peterborough and joining Wigan so now it is the Wigan fans turn to slate him rather than remember him for all the great goals he either made or scored for them. I guess it will be Fulham fans on here sometime in the future slating him when he leaves them to join another club but that's life I guess./

A bit of a silly question if you ask me.I've not a fulham or wigan fan,so i can answer this without any bias or emotion involved. No he didn't deserve to suffer his injury, and shame on you for suggesting that if you're being serious!

i dont think it was just cos he left wigan for fulham thats why he got injured but it is essential we understnd that wigan reaped the profit for his sale so he paid them back with his talent.we must also know that it is hard to keep a young talented footballer like jimmy.

I'm surprised you have such views, but Bullard was flourishing at Fulham before the injury. In fact he was pretty high up on the OPTA stats table.

Crouch All-Time Top Scorer at Anfield!!?
This is like getting an infant who just started walking, to start running.

To become the top scorer he will have to break Ian Rush's record of 337 goals. Even beat the great Roger Hunt's total of 285. Not to mention other illustrious greats, who have scored well over 150 goals. They include the likes of Billy Liddell, Kenny Dalgish, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen.

And with so much competition for striking roles at the club, it is unlikely that Crouch will ever the large amount of games that he needs, in order to break the record.

If he can score just 100 goals for them, it will be an achievement in itself.
