A true party for the british people is needed but the BNP is not the answer as its full of racists and people who are looking for violent actions against those who disagree. This is somewhat how the Nazi party started.
A true party for brits would start by looking at what most are frightened of which is immigration. There are many parts of britain where english is not the first language and its getting worse. If someone has a genuine work skill and can pass a simple english language test then OK, they should be allowed to come to UK ON LICENCE until they prove themselves.
No Human Rights. If they don't behave then send them back and ensure they are unable to return. Also no state handouts for say 5 years.
Lets see how many want to come to UK then !!

I think the reasons are likely historic.

The last time I saw a question about the BNP here I'd just returned from town where I saw my first BNP 'parade,' if that's the word. A bunch of white guys (and I'm white too) marching with union jacks with an air of menace (my perception) about them.

I wanted nothing to do with them.

I don't KNOW that they have a Black, Asian, Catholic or anything base.... I do know I didn't see any none-white faces amongst those I saw.

I see them as the 'flatulence party,' the by-product of society.

personally, i don't believe what you're saying is true. the bnp is a self-proclaimed racist organisation. they try to appeal to white british people using scare tactics and if this policy was taken away from them what would they stand for? there may be a few members who are not white but it's misleading and untrue to say that they have a very large following of non-white brits.

Because they spout racially bigoted junk.

The equivalent Australian party (One Nation), also had membership from racial minorities, didn't stop the party being racist. Quite what people from minority backgrounds are thinking when they back such parties I do not know.

No, only the bigots see the BNP in this light.

If you are truly BRITISH it doen't matter.

I call on all BRITISH people of whatever hue, to vote BNP.
