All you need to do is change X to the number they give you. The three things in parenthesees are all in (x,y) format, so the first number is what X is, and the second number is what Y is. In every problem here, they give you X and make you solve for Y.
The very first problem for instance, you want to say "what would Y be if X equals 0.
y = 3x
if X equals zero, then 3*0 = 0, so y = 0

to find the values just substitute x value in equation
1. y=3x
(0,0) , ( -1, -3) , (7, 21)
2. y= 5-4x
(5, -15) , (1, 1) , (-1, 9)
3. 2x+y =6 ===>> y= 6-2x
(2, 2) , (0, 6) , (1, 4)

Technique: the first number in the brackets represent x, so, just substitute the valur of x into the equation and you can find the value of y which is represented by the 2nd number in the brackets that you need to find.
