No one knows who built the pyramids and we couldn't build one to the same accuracy even today.
It is the same as the stones in Stonehenge and the Mayan temples in Peru.
Not one person alive has any idea at all how any of these structures were constructed. The workings of those societies are unknown too!
The pyramids contain honey which is still edible even today. They also were booby trapped with germ warfare to prevent theft of the golden effigy's.
We do not have an inkling of the technologies which were abound in those times.
Don't you just find it really really frustrating - cos we'll never know for sure!

It's insulting to the Egyptians to suggest that they weren't smart enough to build the pyramids. Anybody who's ever been to the pyramids can tell you that they were clearly made by rough tools, especially if you've been inside. Aliens who were able to travel between the stars would have a better way of cutting rocks than with hand-tools. You can literally see the chisel marks on all the blocks - don't you think aliens would use a laser or a saw of some sort? Rock seems like a very primitive and inefficient building material for a civilization that has mastered interstellar flight. Wouldn't they use some composite material - maybe titanium or aluminum? Carbon fiber? Why didn't they put in an elevator or some lights? There's just very dark tunnels with primitive looking rocks inside. The thing is, we KNOW how the pyramids were built and we know where the quarries are where they got the stone from. In some of the quarries there are obelisks and blocks that they started to cut out but didn't finish for some reason, so we can see how they did it. More importantly, why would another civilization put in the effort to fly here just so they could build a pile of rocks? For what? They came to build the rocks and then just disappeared? It seems like it's not worth the investment to build a tourist attraction on another planet, only to fly away and abandon it.

People believe all kinds of crazy things.
Like:
Man did not land on the Moon.
Aliens built the pyramids.
1 man built a boat that held EVERY land animal on the planet for 40 days and 40 nights.
The government is controlled by aliens.
I guy remained alive in the belly of a whale for three days.
People tend to be really gullible when presented with a good argument,, they throw logic out the window in search of social conformity.
I really don't know why.

Yes I'm sure there are people that do actually believe that aliens built the pyramids. Of course they didnt but some people believe crazy things!!

Dr Daniel Jackson PhD purported that the pyramids were landing pads for alien spacecraft. these aliens would enslave the primitive peoples of the world, pretending to be gods.
He got some government job in Cheyenne Mountain and I haven't heard much since then. ;-)

some people are very gullible.
However, one thing remains certain - they were not built by the people to whom their building is historically attributed, as those people simply did not have the complex knowledge of precession of the stars, the size of the earth and command of science required.
Furthermore, some people believe that mankind are aliens......

i believe they were built before the egyptians, just like the sphinx. there is proof that that was there before them and they re carved the head, thats why its considerably smaller than the body.
maybe not aliens, but a forgotten race.
