You're not old hon. You speak the truth. Especially on top 40 stations. Videos (when you can actually see them anymore) are all mostly the same too.
There's still good music out there, it's just hard to find.
When I was 23, a 16 year old was amazed I'd even HEARD of Green Day. Now THAT will make you feel old! And I'm 33 now!

"Like a good wine, you don´t get older, you just get better".
No, you are not officially old but only just realised that a lot of music does sound all the same. My suggestion is that you change radio stations and start browsing on the Internet: there is a lot of great new music around, which is not being played on the main radio stations......

21?!?!? OLD?!?!? Whatever! Save this question, then read it again in forty years. You will need a good laugh by then, lol.
Enjoy your youth, for it is fleeting.
You have a good ear for music, something to be proud of! There is very little originality in popular music today. Don't be afraid to go out and discover a new music style, broaden your musical horizons. Have fun!

To justify my Questions about aging I prefer to think of it as getting a little more mature. But you're right all the music does sound the same & that makes you "Officially Mature" & a lil' more selective!!!!!!!

No you're not officially old. Old is when you say, "They sure don't make music like they did at my age!"

It depends. Do you prefer to go to a pub where you can chat to your friends or a noisy busy pub where you can't hear each other over the music? This is where the key to getting older lays.
