well i'm gonna take a guess that the part about being raised by the state means that his family probably grew up on welfare or else he didn't have a family at all and was raised up in a foster home or group home and now he's dealin in the streets to make money. when he says his homies are down so don't arouse his anger...that probably means that another gang might have killed his buddies or something and not to make him angry cause he would take revenge on whoever did it to him, or it could mean that his friends are there for him, and he's gonna be there for them. and of course the part about saying his age, he's pretty much saying that with the dangerous life he's living, it wouldn't be a surprise if he didn't live a long life.
Hope this could help a little, and these of course are just my assumptions, so i could be wrong...but good luck with your paper =)

My opinion is that the beat ( music) was stolen, I have proof

t,v distorts reality and life's dreams are not realistic

Education does not make you street smart which encompasses the belief that Money is the way to fufill dreams
