No it doesn't mean that at all.

If the Terrorists really wanted to "further damage" America as Bush threatens every hour of the day - they could have done this years ago! It really would be so simple its pathetic!

And Bush's 700 mile fence is a farce because they can go around it, over it, or under it, and it doesn't run from one end of the border to the other!

Last but not least - Since Congress has not passed any legislation to Fund the actual building of this fence folly - it in all probably will never be built - leaving it nothing but a last minute Post Election ploy to convince Americans that the Gop is making us safer!

Which is nothing but a big load of crap!

Homeland security is an oxymoronic name! First off if they were for real Bush and his Daddy would be under inditement for their dealings with the Bin Ladden family! As to the fence, its appalling to the free world! Its like the Berlin wall, tear down the fence Mister Bush

The actions of terrorists against U.S. troops in Iraq comes from two schools of thought in my opinion. First, because of our presence there. We are the worlds most aggressive defender of democracy. Second, because of what Bin Laden said. His only goal is to destroy the people of beliefs other than his own.Would we have to fight him in our streets as result of pulling out of Iraq? Not likely. Most of the allied deaths in Iraq are the result of those who want to bring back a Saddam style dictatorship and not because we are the 'infidels'. Bin Laden however encourages the Iraqi people to fight us because of that 'status'. And he has called upon Muslims in the U.S. to join him in his struggle against the 'Satanic' people of America. There will be further attempts to kill Americans regardless of where we are on Earth, or what we are doing. And yes, disaster will befall us here at home. This will most likely come from within our borders by those followers of Bin Laden and will have similarities to the recent events in England. Finally, terrorists don't hate us because we love freedom and democracy. They hate us because their "Alla" says to. And that is against what the true Alla says. You can find this in the Koran. Give our Homeland Security some credit. The task at hand is a complicated one and the many limitations imposed on the department by our constitution prevent them from using very creative and ultimatley effective tools in preventing futher attacks. Our freedoms, maintained at great cost, must be carefully weighed against the need of knowing what each citizen here believes, thinks or does. It is up to all Americans to stand together in this fight but at the same time, show peace loving Muslims what we are really made of.

Homeland security is an illusion. You are only as safe as you pretend you are. The cause of death is life. Our own failings will be our downfall, always was, always will be. A fence is only a fence until it is pulled down, then it's just a mess.

It's an absolutely absurd contention. Even if there was a significant "terrorist" contingent in Iraq, there is no reason they couldn't divert a small percentage of their resources to launch an attack here. Or, they could simply activate one of the "hundreds" of "sleeper cells" the Administration used to tell us were just waiting to emerge.

It sound like you can't wait to find out? Let's see!

Just be glad a Democrat wasn't in office on 9/11. Clinton would have read a concession speech as he raised the Al Quaeda flag. He would have said, "We surrender! you are too strong for us."
