Never too old

The older you are, the more enlightening the experience is.
There's a department in most colleges and universities called RE-ENTRY, it's for folks who've been out of school for some years, and they'll help you get back into the swing of things. You can get a tutor or study group for nearly every subject to help you with academic challenges. Also, there's wheelchair access and other easy ways of getting to difficult-to-reach-areas. You will be accomnodated. You'll find many new friends there, be prepared for people to show an interest in you (yes, there are still many who appreciate an elder's input).
There were white-haired students at both institutions of higher learning when I returned to school to earn my BA in Sociology.
Don't be shy, go claim your education., it's waiting...
Greatest of luck and good wishes.

I don't know about "too old", but "too late" is two months before you die....

Look, in 5 years, if you go to college....you could have gotten a HECK of a lot of work done towards your degree---maybe even finished it! But if you do nothing, you'll just be 5 years older.

There were a lot of "nontraditional" students when I first took my bachelor's degree, ages ago, and they tended to have a universal fear of "I am SO OUT of school; how will I keep up---I'm too old for this." They also tended to really whip the behinds (academically) of the "younger" students who had recently come up from high school; the honor societies were overloaded with nontraditionals.

GO FOR IT!

never too old. I'm 30 and working on a degree.
In my case, being financially independent, with a full time job and bills, it can be quite a challenge though.
No age is too old for college, but I recommend to start as early as possible.

I was working at a graduation for Edinburgh University this year. One gentleman got a degree and he looked well into his 70s, if not older. He got such a huge cheer when he graduated! Good for him!

You are never too old to go back to school. I wish I had the courage to do it.

Good luck!

I think unless you are dead, you are never too old for college.
