If you DO vote Republican, that means that the terrorists are winning, they have instilled you with enough fear to vote against your own best interests.
Terrorism will still be around whether the Democrats or Republicans control the House and Senate. The question is - do you want to live in fear, or with hope? I choose the latter.

If you listen to Bush and Cheney, a vote for the democrats is a vote for the terrorists and an act of treason. This is part of "the big lie" strategy being used to intimidate the public into doing whatever the Bush people want. Say it over and over and people will believe it. It was a favorite strategy of Hitler's Germany and is being used here today.

Not necessarily.
I already voted a straight Democrat ticket because I was sick and tired of all of Bush & Companys bull$hit and crap about his farce of a "War on Terror" - when in reality it is nothing more or less than an opportunity for his corrupt corporate criminals to enrich themselves on their warmongering war profits - at the expense of the middle and lower class Americans!
I fee sorry for the people who can't realize that Bush is a proven liar, fraud and a false christian and he has done more damage to this great country of ours than any 1,000 terrorists could possibly have done if they would have taken down every dam building in New York city!
And I hear this from the "man on the street" daily!

Of course not. Regardless of what your political affiliation is, a strategy will be in place to combat such things. A Democratic solution may well be different, but not necessarily ineffective in the war on terror. The end goal of all poitical parties is to eliminate the threat of terrorism world wide. This is a high standard to have set, and extremely difficult to achieve whoever is in power.

Let's see....The GOP let North Korea get the bomb, let Iran gain influence over Iraq, failed to put an end to the Taliban or to catch Bin Laden, and turned Iraq into a state now overrun with terrorists.
I've got to think the terrorists are hoping the GOP holds on to power so they can continue their "war on terror".

The last terrorist attack on this country happened when republicans were in control of the white house. so.. my guess would be no.. How can republicans be helpful if they don't own up to their mistakes?

No, it means that you don't care if the terrorists DO win. It means you are willing to abandon the Iraqis and Israel to death by the millions, that you are willing to give in to NKorea and Iran in the *hope* they will be nice, all for some imaginary fiction of peace.

How are terrorists winning? They are far from winning. We live in a great country and terrorist are jealous of us and the freedom we have.

The terrorists are hoping the Democrats get control cause the Democrats don't have the stomach -- as Ed Koch said -- to fight the terrorists. The Democrats are more interested in finding out "why they hate us," so we can apologize for it and then there'll be peace.
