What is the rule for mowing your yard in the fall? Is an occasional day of 67 degrees ok to mow?

It's never really too late. The grass will stop growing before the last of the leaves have fallen. Since leaves make such good material for healthy yards, I recommend continuing to mow with the mulching blade once or twice a week until all the leaves have fallen. It beats raking and your grass will thank you for it.

It was only 40 degrees last week in Maryland and I mowed mine. I have alot of leaves and I like to mow in order to mulch them up too. In fact, if it is not dark when I get home tonight I am going to mow again just to get rid of the leaves. Best time of the year to put lime down also.

I am still mowing. Just every two weeks instead of every one. Probably will quit middle of November. Depending on the first snowfall.

It depends on how much the grass is still growing and at what length it is.

A nice day of 67 degrees is almost perfect weather!
