One of my co-workers is getting on my last nerve. We have not got along in a year. I have been @ my job for 6 years. Recently she is sending e-mails to our manager containing false statements about me and involving him in issues he should not be bothered with. I have not replied. She throws paperwork on my desk, and makes comments that I have no consideration for others. ( I want this to stop. I want to wipe that grin off her face without getting fired any suggestions. The manager does not want to be involved. I don't blame him.

Revenge is the wrong route to take.

The manager will see & be able to figure out what's going on. The employee causing the trouble will be found out.

The best you can do is to do your job to the best of your ability. Continue to work extra hard at it and produce your best results at all time. Continue to be pleasant to everyone & ignore this employee's behavior.

Do you know why yall haven't gotten along? I hope that you both have already tried talking about it. Perhaps 1 or both of you could switch departments or find a way to work together without actually interacting with each other. Playing games and getting even aren't going to solve the problem. You will both keep trying to one up each other. How long has your co-worker been there? Does she get along with other ppl in the office? Sometimes, if 2 co-workers really can't interact in an acceptable way at work, the manager or HR should be involved or do resolve the problem.

The best way to get even, is to just treat her so sickening sweet that she can't stand it. I had an ordeal with a co-worker, and from the day I started my new job, she tried everything to get me to quit. That just made me more determined. She spread lies about me and told people that she wished I would just die, drown in my pool, or anything. She actually said these things. I eventually left this place, but not because of her. I still had friends there working who kept me up on all the juicy stuff. Said she was still bad mouthing me. I had an opportunity this summer to see her at an event that I know she attends every year and I told everyone that I was gonna kick her you know what. I couldn' wait. I had been nice long enuf. But shortly beofre the event I had a revelation. She knew that I was still in contact with several people from there, so I decided that I would just go up to her and hug her and tell her how much I missed her, etc. It would be hard cause I really wanted to knock her in the dirt. But when I got to the event, I finally saw her. And I did just what I said. I first saw her husband and talked to him and asked where she was and all he did was point.(I had also lost a bout 40 lbs and looked amazing) not to brag, but anyway, I went up to her and put my arms on her shoulders and looked her straight in the ey and said I am so glad to run into you, I really miss working with you. I hate that we did not get along all that well, but maybe that can change now. blah blah blah, well her mouth never came back up from the ground. just so happened that my other friend who still works with her was right behind her, and wihtout this person seeing us talk I said find out everything she says and call me. Well, guess what, the little heifer felt bad that she had treatedme so badly and was actually at a loss for words. This was the best that I could have ever done.. So you may want to try it, or not. But anyway, I am sorry this is so long. Good luck in whatever you do.

Do you have a copy of those emails that were being sent? If you do, you can sue her for Libel. That's like slander except the written form.

Does she know how you feel about it? Have you confronted her?

To get even, do what she does to you. When she throws the paperwork on your desk, when you are finished with it, throw it back on her desk. Make her look stupid in front of the rest of your co-workers. Confront her in front of them.

I had the same problem with a co-worker who was there longer than I was. It's usually the person whose intimidated by the work that you are doing. They are afraid to lose their job to you. If your manager won't get involved. Talk to her with attitude.

First I would tell her face to face that you will not be putting up with her crap any longer. That if she continues with her behavior, you will be forced to see upper management. You have to be the bigger person; stooping to her level will only make you an idiot like she seems to be. Second, your manager should step in (its a manager's job); if he want step in and help as a mediator then I would also mention this to top management. Him just ignoring the problem is not fair to you, and apparently its not helping, its only making her act out more. Good Luck.

She is a bully. You have a few options, but they don't involve revenge. First, tell her to her face that you don't like being treated like this. Second, you can file a formal complaint with your boss and insist it be put into her employment file. Third you can go over your bosses head to his boss and try to get some resolution. Fourth, you can leave this job.

start taking your own inventory from the day she interacted with you and write on paper at least 2 pages a day, remembering each and every incidence related to her. none of this writing is for any one else to read neither you will read it till you reach writing today's events.

i am sure you will get the solution yourself.
the key word is that you can not change the world but you can change yourself.

Don't sink to her level. Believe me she will get hers. After all, what goes around comes around. I had similar problems at work. In the end everyone who had badmouthed me for no reason ended up getting fired, and no I had nothing to do with it. I just came to work did my job and left.

find dirt on her, real dirt...
be on stand by with a cam all the time and get her when she is down..
then make it public knowledge by sending it to everyone in the office but from an internet cafe and using a new email account :)))))))

revenge is immature. there are better ways to handle the situation, like be extra nice to her at all times.
