Cancun checklist:

Have too much fun!

Don't' drink the water, or the gazpacho soup!!!!!

Go to Senior Frogs!

Don't rent a car, the strip is mainly one long street and the buses run up and down all day and night!

Hotels have the same outlets we do here in the U.S., so do bring your hairdryer!

Try to stray away from the tourist traps, ask your concierge or a trusted local for places and shops away from the expensive tourist shops.

Do bring your swimsuit, the water is usually very warm even in January!

Do have too much fun!!! (worth repeating)

In an all inclusive for 1 week you will find lots to do right around your hotel and surrounding area. If you Fancy a day out talk to a person at the reception desk and ask for suggestions. I would definitely suggest a trip to Talum. It is a fabulous, but small historical site and not too far away. A good idea to see something of the real Mexico because Cancun was built for tourism; it has no history.
Anyway, enjoy but be very careful. Singles and 'singled out' so better to hand together, have fun and be safe.
Cheers!

Cancun is definitely an start gate to your dream holiday only similar to this place hotelbye for getting there. Cancun delivers state-of-the-art hotel facilities one of the greatest clubs, bars, and malls just a few legs away from the most beautiful beaches on the planet. One of many places you need to see may be the Isla Mujeres. Here, the cool breezes blow throughout the area through the day and night and here you will relish: the snorkelling, the diving, the swimming with dolphins, the rural beaches for moonlight hikes and personal conversations, and ratings of waterfront restaurants surrounded by great shopping and beautiful organic scenery. If you're buying Cancun location spot to flake out, Isla Mujeres is the area to come.

You should be fine to bring a hairdryer, but the less you bring the less you have to worry about. I would check with the resort and see if they supply them in the room. And it all depends on WHAT you want to do and if you want to spend a lot. We stayed on the resort because it had a club, gym, sand Volleyball, the beach and drinks/food all you could handle. My friends went to swim with the Dolphins, shopping basically your average stuff is what is offered. If you are partying, they have a booze cruise, a bus that will take you to each of the bars in downtown area. We did some of these activities on this website but I hope it helps, Xcaret has a underwater river and snorkeling. It was a lot of fun.

The electrical plugs are the same, you can bring whatever you want, although most hotels have hair dryers in their rooms.

Whatever your plan is, you have to enjoy the beach for as much time as you can. It's one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

If you want to have a "cultural" trip, you have to go to Chichen Itza, it's a place with pyramids from the Mayan culture, it's amazing. And also you can go to Tulum. It´s also a pyramid area but right on the beach, nothing like it in the world!!

If you want to have a family trip, go to Xcaret. You can swim with dolphins, do some underground snorkeling, there's a zoo, a lot of things to do.

And if you want to party, go to Señor Frogs (it's a restaurant that is famous among Americans). But if you really want to experience what clubs are in Mexico, go to Daddy'O or to Coco-bongo.

Go parasailing!!!!!!

Go on a party or a dinner cruise on the ocean!

Good For you
smart thing to do when going on vacation
you ask what kind of electirc outlet the hotel have
usually you fine both 110 &220 in an hotel
that depend on the class of hotel
but the intelligent thing to do is ask the place itself
Have fun
