I think that you should keep them for now and revisit the issue later. Put them away safely for now. You don't say how long you were married or how long you've been divorced, but I would guess that at some point you will want to bring them out again. Perhaps, if you have children from the marriage, they would like to see or even have those things in the future. So, I guess my vote is to keep them for now.

Good luck!

Speaking from experience, keep them!! When I got a divorce I tore up EVERYTHING!!! because I was so very hurt. Now, even though I am married again, that was 20 tears of my life. Even though I have the memories, I wish I could go back at times & see some of the items. I really sorry I destroyed all thoes things.
I wish you luck & recovery!! It may take a long time, but it will come!!

Wow! this is a hard one, may I ask this much?
Were there children from this union? It all depends to me, see I would keep somethings because like you said, there were happy feelings to not just all bad, and it is a part of you and why you are the person you are, that is why they are called KEEPS SAKES you know, but anyway I would think if you had children with this spouse then what you could do is pass them down. along with the store behind them and that is what makes family history as well I think, and then your children passes them down to their children, and so on, and so, on etc.......If there were no children then it's totally up to you but, me myself I would not keep everything but, I would keep a few things, like a small trinket box or something because your past is just that yours and we are all entitled to ours,The Good things as well as The Bad ones, those are things that makes us who we are.........I hope whatever you decide to do it makes you happy nevertheless okay..........

there is no right or wrong way to feel as long as you just feel,,which you have done,,keep them, they obviously hold something for you and there is no real reason to get rid of them.good and bad times happened and sometimes we need little reminders of just how good/bad times can get.

That is up to you. If you had children with your Ex you might want to keep them to show your kids.

no need to keep them but if you have children they might want to know about your happy moments so in that case i would only save it for my children. sry about your divorce i wish you happiness in the years to come.
