-5x+4y=6........(equn. no 1) -2x+3y=1.......(Equn. np.2) Multiplying equn. no. (1) by 2 and equn.no.(2) by 5 we get -10x+8y=12 and -10x+15y=5. Subtracting ,we get -7y=7 =>y=7/-7=- 1. Now.putting this value of y in equn.no.1,we get -5x+4(-1)=6 =>-5x-4=6 => -5x=6+4 =10 => x=10/-5=-2 .Therefore x=- 2 and y=-1 ans.

-5x+4y=6 *2
-2x+3y=1 *5
we get, -10x+8y=12
-10x+15y=5
solving these we get: -7y=7
therefore we get y=-1
For finding x substitute y=-1 in one of the equations
-5x+4*-1=6
-5x-4=6
-5x=10
x=-2
therefore x=-2&y=-1
