hey, i had seen the same situation b4. I think the best thing to check is to talk about boyfriends and to check if he is angry this means that he is jealous.
BTW, there are many friendships i know that turned out to be moreeeeeeeee ;)

when they start to buy you little things like if he is going to the store and always ask you if you would like something and he pays for it or if he leaves out of town and brings you something back or he ask if you won,t to have lunch a lot it,s mostly for you company and conversation he seeks and if you don,t get those little hints he will eventually ask you for a kiss that,s how i found out someone liked me then i got jewelry , dinners, money , gifts , food for my refrigerator. and anything my little heart desires.
