ok so last night my bf gave me a hickie the size of a freaking HOUSE and it hurts sooo bad and it looks like ive been beat in the neck, is there a way to get rid of the pain and possibly reduce the size and color?? its painful just looking at it.

Wear a turtleneck tshirt or sweater until it goes away. Whatever you put on it to hide it will only call more attention to it.
It could be sore because your bf may have broken some blood vessels near the skin.
Tell the bf to leave your neck alone & concentrate more on the erogenous zones that you prefer. It's juvenile to suck on the neck so long that it causes a hickey.'

The best way is to get rid of the source. None of my business, but are you and your boyfriend still in junior high? Hickies aren't something adults give to each other. It is your boyfriends way of "marking" his property. I don't know how to rid of the hickie, but it does sound very painful. Good luck.

It is a painful bruise (which is what a hickie is). Cool compresses may help, as well as Advil. You need to tell him that hickies are stupid and for teenagers and to knock it off.

yep had a few of those. one on the lip once...not pleasant. but i tried ice (to take down swelling and ease pain a bit) then someone said to use toothpaste ( i just spread a bit over the hickie) and then someone else said scrape a comb over it (dont know if that one works b/c it hurt too much to do that one)

well 1st of all your bofyriend is a terd
for doing such a terrible thing to you.
second a hickie is bllod that has been sucked up
through your pours.
like a bruise,but to interior damage.
so anything that would help a bruise
would help you hickie.
wear a nice feather boa.

put a spoon in the freezer and then rub
the hickie with it.
or use the cap of your lip stick and rub
the hickie with it.
yes it will hurt some bot it will work.
Please don't let him do that again, it makes you look cheap.

i know this may sound odd, but take a metal spoon and put it in the freezer, wait till it is really cold, and then stick it on your neck, it will reduce the size, color, and feeling of it. good luck!

I would use ice and some tylenol for the pain there's really nothing you can do for a bruise so I would just cover it up with some make-up

Place some ice on the injury and take some ibuprofen. Tell your boyfriend that it's not funny nor romantic to break your blood vessel.

We'll I heard they are kind of dangerous It just bruise blood you know .But toothpaste use to make it go away fast. (back in the day)
