Hi there,

The most likely reason for this happening isn't because someone stole your ID or passsword, but because you are infected with some sort of Trojan Spyware.

There are many of these infections doing the rounds lately which are affecting a LOT of people using Yahoo and MSN messenger.

I would recommend you download and run the free trial of Prevx1 to ensure you are clean. This free trial will scan your PC and remove any infections free of charge:

That is not exactly a misuse of ur yahoo id...there is some bug in yahoo and it is happening to many people....the problem usually sorts itself out after a few days!!

Or else , someone gave me these steps but I am not sure how helpful they are:

"1) Create 2 mail ids in address book one with name: !0000 and another with ID: aaa@aaa.com.

2) Create another id in address book with id: aaaaabcdnothing@yahoogroups.com "
