Scenarios:

S1) You have a laptop with an SVIDEO output.
A1) Just plug-in the S-Video Jack into your laptop and the other end into your VHS recorder (colored Yellow). For the sound use a stereo-jack for the PC and appropriate connectors for the VHS recorder (colored White and Red)

S2) You don't have an SVideo output.
A2) Use a TV-BOX (is a stand-alone device that can help you see TV onto any Monitor - excluding laptop). These gadgets have also video-in and video-out plugs.

S3) You don't have an SVideo output.
A3) Use a TV-Tuner that has a video-output connector.


Connectors and cables can be bought from almost any computer shop.
